Kairos Prison Ministry

I was in prison and you visited me. – Matthew 25:36

Kairos Prison Ministry is a non-denominational Christian faith based ministry that addresses the spiritual needs of incarcerated men, women, youth, and their families.

Kairos embraces a diverse group of volunteers working together to fulfill Christ’s call to action in Matthew 25:36. By sharing the love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ, Kairos hopes to change hearts, transform lives and impact the world.

Kairos of Texas is in 47 units (prisons & jails) across the State of Texas and ministers to family members with the 10 Kairos Outside Ministries.

FUMC New Braunfels has active volunteers serving at the following units:

  • Briscoe Prison, Dilley
