C.L.U.B. (Christ Leading Us through the Bible) Night will resume on Ash Wednesday, March 1st at 5:30 pm with a potluck dinner and an Ash Wednesday service just for children. We will eat dinner at 5:30, then Pastor Patrick Melton will give a short sermon on the meaning of Lent, followed by the imposition of ashes. Children ages 2 – 5th grade and their parents are highly encouraged to attend.
Our Ash Wednesday service will take place that night in the sanctuary at 7:00 pm, with childcare provided.
After Ash Wednesday, C.L.U.B. night will continue as usual on Wednesday nights, from 5:30 to 7:00 pm beginning in Wesley Hall for school-aged children. This spring’s session will have a mission focus and Pastor Theresa Booth will lead us in what it means to serve others.
A $2 donation is suggested for dinner after March 1st.
LENT FOR LITTLES
On March 1, from 5:30 – 7:00 pm, children ages 2 – 5 are welcome to join C.L.U.B. night children in Wesley Hall for dinner until 6:00 pm, at which time they will move to room 110 for a class just for them. We will have a short lesson, craft, and play time, all with a Lenten focus. Please feel free to bring your child at 6:00 pm only for the Lent for Littles class.
Please RSVP here for this class so we will have enough supplies. Contact Kat Cochrane or Cynthia Deaton at (830) 625-4513 with any questions.
