Adult Sunday School

Sunday School classes are a foundation of our Adult Ministries. We offer both long-term classes and short-term special study series. Topics vary based on class desires and relevant publications. Meeting times and days vary throughout the week and all are welcome – regular congregants, visitors and new members. Sunday schools and small groups will continue to meet as they traditionally have. Additionally, we will be offering the All That We Leave behind study to complement the sermon series, but only if there is interest in using it.

United Women in Faith

United Women in Faith (formerly known as United Methodist Women) is the world’s largest denominational faith organization for women with approximately 800,000 members whose mission is fostering spiritual growth, developing leaders, and advocating for justice.

Members raise up to $20 million each year for programs and projects related to women, children and youth in the United States and in more than 100 countries around the world.

The First United Methodist Church New Braunfels’ general meeting takes place on the first Tuesday of the month in the Assembly Room (Room 118). Small group Circle meetings are third Tuesdays at 9:30 or 2:00. We also have a newer evening Circle that meets on 2nd Wednesday at 6:30pm.

Small Groups

Many Christ-followers enjoy the casual and intimate setting of a small group. Small groups typically meet together for several months or even years, so members get to know one another on a deeper level. Our church offers several small groups with various formats, so if you are interested in knowing more, joining an existing group, or starting your own small group, please contact Karen Andrews.
