Church Center, developed by Planning Center, is designed to streamline our church operations and enhance your experience as at First United Methodist Church New Braunfels.

Church Center comes in two formats: a mobile app for iOS and Android devices, and a web-based platform accessible from any internet browser. Both versions offer the same great features, allowing you to:

  • Stay updated on church news and announcements
  • Check in to events and services
  • Communicate with ministries, groups and committees
  • See your personalized calendar for what you are involved with at the church

Q: HOW DO I GET STARTED WITH CHURCH CENTER?

A: You can use Church Center through the mobile app or website. For the app, search for “Church Center” in your device’s app store. For the website, visit https://fumcnb.churchcenter.com.

Q: HOW DO I SET UP MY CHURCH CENTER ACCOUNT?

A: In most cases, if you have given the church information in the past, you have an account. You will log into your account using your phone number. If you do not have one, you will create one in the login process.

For the App:

  1. Download the App from either the iOS (Apple) App Store or the Google Play Store.
  2. Search for “First United Methodist Church New Braunfels” or give the app permission to search nearby churches.
  3. Select our church when it appears
  4. Enter your phone number
  5. You’ll receive a verification code via text; enter this code

For the Website:

  1. Go to fumcnb.churchcenter.com
  2. Click Login on the top right.
  3. Enter your phone number
  4. You’ll receive a verification code via text; enter this code. You should not have to re-enter the information every time unless your browser does not save information (cookies) or you log out. 

Q: HOW DO I GIVE THROUGH CHURCH CENTER?

A: Giving from the app is easy. Follow these instructions:

  1. Open the app or website and log in
  2. Tap on the “Give” option
  3. Choose the fund you want to give to
  4. Enter the amount and choose your payment method
  5. Complete the transaction

Q: HOW DO I CONNECT WITH MY GROUPS ON CHURCH CENTER?

A: Many of our groups use church center to communicate and post shared resources. Here is how you access them:

  1. Open the Church Center app or website and log in
  2. Click on Groups
  3. You’ll see a list of groups you’re a part of
  4. Select a group to view details, send messages, or see upcoming events
  5. To join a new group, browse available groups (they appear in catagories under your groups)
  6. Request to join a group that interests you

Q: HOW DO I CHECK-IN FOR WORSHIP ON THE APP?

A: You can always check in using our written registration pads, but checking in with the app is quick and easy.

  1. Open the Church Center app
  2. Tap on the “Check-In” button on the first page (scroll down and look for the picture with the blue “register” button)
  3. Select the event you’re attending (e.g., Sunday Worship)
  4. Choose the family members who are attending with you
  5. Tap “Check In”

Q: IS MY INFORMATION SECURE ON CHURCH CENTER?

A: Yes, Church Center uses industry-standard security measures to protect your personal and financial information. Your data is encrypted and securely stored. It is not stored locally by FUMC New Braunfels, but by our church management software Planning Center Online.
