NEW! FIRST FEEDS FROZEN FOOD MINISTRY
First Feeds is expanding to include a Frozen Food Ministry! Our offering in May is Tortellini Soup. It is available in the kitchen after every service on May 17 and May 24 (until we run out). We are asking for a Love Donation of $5 for each container. Please use the Church Center app to register. If you have any questions, please reach out to Kathy Gibson or Laura Timmerman.
MISSION IN DRC INFORMATIONAL ZOOM All Saints Sunday FUMC had a visit from Missionary Collins Ako who serves in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. He sent the following invite where he will be on zoom to speak about mission in DRC May 4th at 11 a.m. Central:

ADULT VOLUNTEERS NEEDED Our annual River City Work Camp, which is a local mission camp for our youth, is next month, and we need adults to volunteer their time as chaperones, foremen, drivers, and meal providers. PUMPKIN PATCH LEADERSHIP TEAM The Pumpkin Patch doesn’t take place until October, but we are building our Pumpkin Patch leadership team now. We need planning and organizational leaders to sign up as soon as possible to make sure this ministry happens! You can SIGN UP HERE.

Coffee Connection Updates: The Coffee Connection Men’s Group produced and delivered Veterans Day Program “Do It Yourself” kits to each of the four residents we serve.
LADIES NIGHT OUT CLOTHING SWAP
Grab your girls and join us for a fun Ladies Night Out!
On Friday, May 15th from 6–8 PM in Wesley Hall, we’ll be hosting a clothing swap—bring gently used items you’re ready to pass on and leave with some new-to-you favorites. It’s the perfect night for fellowship, laughter, and a little wardrobe refresh! Bring a friend and an appetizer to share!
Drop your clothing, shoes, and accessories off at the church the week of May 11th & come shop items on May 15th! Remaining items will be donated. REGISTER HERE.
The Gardening/Nature group
Meetings are usually held on the last Tuesday of the month at 2:00 PM in Room 118. Everyone is invited to attend. We will have local speakers from groups such as the Comal Master Gardeners, Comal Naturalists, and other outdoor groups.
Evening Game Group meets Wednesday evenings from 6:00 to about 7:00 in the Welcome Cafe.
Monday Games Join us for some game time – easy and easy-to-learn games like Bunco or Chicken Foot or Tensie’s. 10:30 to 1:00 in the Welcome Cafe. Bring your lunch if you’d like. Karen will have water and iced tea.

Pickleball
Regular meetings are Tuesdays at 6 p.m. in Wesley Hall. Watch the church calendar for schedule changes. Some weeks we meet off campus to make room for FUMC ministries that need the gym. Contact Lori Oden for details.
Walk to Emmaus is an inspiring experience held over a three day retreat where Jesus’ love is revealed to you through other Christians. After the retreat, pilgrims meet regularly with others who have been on a walk.

Women’s Emmaus Group will meet every Monday in Room 217 at the church at 1:00. Request to join this group.
We have a NEW women’s Emmaus reunion group that will meet after New Year’s Day on Thursday nights at 6 PM in room 215. Please contact Lori Oden for details
MEN’S Emmaus Reunion Group meets weekly on Wednesdays at 4:00pm in Room 224

LUNCH BUNCH usually meets monthly on the last Tuesday from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Contact Libby Meyer to RSVP.
Mahjong Group meets every Thursday at 1:30-4:30pm in room the Welcome Cafe at church. We are a friendly group who love the game but also love each other. Come and join us for great fun and fellowship!

There is so much excitement happening in our youth ministry right now. Our students have some amazing opportunities ahead for faith, fellowship, and fun!

Important Reminders
- MYF Dinners: We are looking for volunteers to sign up to provide Sunday night meals. Please check the sign-up sheet!
- Scholarships: If financial assistance is needed for any trip, please fill out a youth scholarship application. We want to ensure we have a plan in place so that every student can participate.
- Registration: Please ensure all medical release forms are up to date before May 31.
- Communication: Stay tuned to emails and social media for pool party updates and specific trip details.
Register your student for River City Work Camp 2026. Check in is 5:30 on Wednesday, June 10th. Camp will wrap up at the end of the 9:45 service on Sunday, June 14th. We’ll be working as the hands and feet of Christ. We hope you can join us!
Youth! Registration is open for students who have completed 6th grade and adult volunteers who want to join us in San Angelo for UM Army Camp this summer!
FIRST KIDS MINISTRIES
1st Kids Worship (9:45)
Drop off kids with our volunteer in the sanctuary where they will participate in the first part of worship. Then, they will be taken to room 208 or the playground for a lesson and games. Kids are also more than welcome to sit with their family and then head out when it’s time.
1st Kids Connect (11:00)
We offer an 11:00 Sunday School for kids called 1st Kids Connect! Kids are welcome to attend both 9:45 and 11:00 where they will participate in a Bible lesson, activities, and games. Drop off for 1st Kids Connect will be in room 208.
Volunteers
If you would like to volunteer to help out with the children’s ministry, please let Mallorie know. We’d love to connect with you!
IMPACT MINISTRIES
FIRST FEEDS FUMC has a Food Ministry consisting of a team of ladies that LOVE to cook and who provide meals for our congregation! If you and your family would appreciate a meal due to a new baby, a family illness or other situation, please let us know. Jot your info in the registration pad, notify Kathy Gibson or any staff member and we will be in contact. And, if you too like to cook and would like to join our ministry, let us know.
MOBILE COMMUNION STEWARDS Members of this group take Communion to homebound church members on the first Sunday of the month. Contact Lori or Ron Oden to get more information, join the group, or ask to be visited.
HEART FOR HOMEBOUND is looking for a few new volunteers to help us on Wednesday afternoons as we visit our members who are no longer able to make it to church. We meet at 1:30 in Room 118 and are usually finished with our visits by 3:30. Contact Martha Harrison for more information.
