Pastor Theresa’s final Sunday at FUMC will be June 15. Join us for her farewell message during all three services. After the 11 o’clock service, please go to Wesley Hall for a reception featuring desserts. While you don’t need to bring food, feel free to bring cards and notes for both Theresa and Ember.

The Bell program will have its last rehearsal on Tuesday, May 20th, then rehearsals will start back on Tuesday, August 26th.
Do you play a musical instrument? Or, do you like to sing? Michael Kahl will be arranging for you musicians to bless us with your talents in the traditional Sunday services this summer while the choirs are on break. Musicians can be any age, so if you’re a regular attendee, or if you’re just home for the summer and are able to share your talent, talk to Michael!
ADULT AND FAMILY MINISTRIES
Stay Out of the Heat and Enjoy some Fellowship Time this Summer. Join us on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays for some game time – easy and easy-to-learn games like Bunco or Chicken Foot or Tensies. We’ll begin on June 18, 11:00 – 1:00, Room 118. Bring your lunch if you’d like. Karen will have water and iced tea.
Every year the church offers a confirmation class for our youth to prepare them to become full church members. You may have taken a confirmation class yourself when you were younger. Do you remember what that class covered? Maybe you joined FUMCNB from another denomination and you never took a United Methodist Membership class. Maybe you have questions about the church that you never had an opportunity to ask. This fall the church will be offering an Adult Confirmation class to give you an opportunity to ask questions and learn more about your church. The 9-week class will begin on September 3 at 6:00PM and will be facilitated by Pastor Andrew and Don Snyder. It will be based on the United Methodist Credo curriculum. Come join us for an enjoyable time as we learn more about our faith and our church!
