Greetings church family,
Dan and Amanda Collins here with Family Promise of Greater New Braunfels. The program is back and moving forward with some important changes! To better support the mental health of our families—especially the kids—we’re switching to a static shelter model. Families will now stay overnight at the Day Center, which can currently house up to eight people. We’re hopeful to expand in the future and ask for your prayers as we explore new space.
We still need your help! Meals are a big part of our support, and we’re asking for volunteers to deliver dinner to the Day Center families throughout the week. On Thursday nights, we’ll host a smaller, family-style meal at Wesley Hall to foster fellowship without overwhelming our guests.
You can sign up as a family, a small group, or a Sunday School class. Donations of gift cards and bottled water are also welcome!
